Look at the labels and the shape becomes clear: most stops are marked pass by, three are marked visit — Parque La Granja, Parque García Sanabria and the Castillo de San Cristóbal — and free time appears twice. That is a circuit with commentary, and at this price it is a good one: the plazas, the market, the Auditorio, the Palmetum, the Parque Marítimo and the seafront all go past, and you finish knowing how the city fits together.
Guides are the reason for the score and reviewers name them — Natalia, Valeria — and the language list runs to eight, Ukrainian and Polish included, which is wider than anything else in the capital. The one recurring criticism is mechanical. GetYourGuide’s summary of the reviews says better bike maintenance and pre-ride checks would help, so squeeze the brakes and turn the pedals before you set off rather than at the first junction. On the terrain, the listing says mostly flat while the same review summary credits the e-bikes with making the hills easy.
Both are true: the waterfront is flat and the parks are above it. If you are unsure, take the electric one. Two small things worth knowing. Several reviewers were the only booking on their date and got a private tour for the shared price, which tells you the groups are small.
